Gas safety certificates
Landlords have a legal requirement to make sure every property they let as an annual gas safety check. During this check we’ll ensure all gas appliances in the house such as the boiler, cooker and gas fire are in good working condition, with no damage to any pipework or loose connections. We’ll test for gas leaks and make sure any safety devices are working correctly. A CP12 certificate valid for one year will then be issued. We’ll also make sure your tenant has a copy of this.
Carbon monoxide alarms
From October 2022 it has been a legal requirement for landlords to ensure they have working carbon monoxide detectors installed in the properties they let out.
BG Gas can assist by installing new carbon monoxide alarms and testing new ones whilst we complete your gas safety checks. We can also show your tenants how to check their carbon monoxide alarm is working correctly.
Plumbing repairs and maintenance
