Radiator replacements
The old radiators in your home may look ok but could be corroded beyond repair on the inside, making a replacement necessary. You may also have found that your old radiators are bulky, inefficient or placed in an inconvenient place in your rooms. Cold radiators? Ask us about powerflushing
If your radiators aren’t heating up thoroughly, this can often be resolved by bleeding them to remove any excess air in the system, a service we are happy to provide. However if cold radiators are also accompanied by a loud boiler and pipework, powerflushing may be the best solution. Over time deposits, from water build up in your radiators and pipes leaving a build-up of sludge that can cause problems with your radiators and damage your boiler.
During a powerflush we’ll use a mixture of chemicals to thoroughly clean out your radiators before reconnecting everything back up. If you’re having a new boiler fitted a powerflush is usually recommended to avoid damaging a brand new boiler with sludge that could come in from old radiators.
